Our artisan family is our greatest asset, and their health and welfare come first. Fair wages, profit sharing, private medical insurance, and paid vacation have long been part of our commitment, not recent additions. Several artisans have been with us for decades, a testament to this holistic approach in itself. Tharangini is the only hand block print studio in India to hold the Nest Ethical Handcraft Seal of compliance.
As a woman-led studio, gender equality has been part of our ethos since the beginning, not a policy added later. Creating a safe, inclusive space goes beyond benefits and policies alone, and it shows, in the spirit of collaboration and comfort every visitor feels when they step into our space.
