As you enter Tharanga Forest, leaving behind the rush and noise of an ever-expanding city, a short walk down a muddy road brings you to Tharangini Studios. We spent many days there, listening, watching and filming: the sounds, the people, the conversations, and the hands at work. This film is a portrait of everyday life at Tharangini: the people, the processes, the movement and the life that fill the space. Outside, the city keeps growing. Inside, the work continues at its own pace, much as it has for the past fifty years.
