In 2021, we had the chance to be part of the Distant Fellowship Program with Morris Gallery and Studio Carrom based in London, exploring the connections between William Morris’ legacy and South Asia. As part of this collaboration, we took on the challenge of creating a 34-part block to be printed and archived. This mammoth undertaking involved immense skill but was equally rewarding, leading to a most exceptional intricate design.
The William Morris Gallery, London, renowned for its celebration of the life and work of the influential artist and designer William Morris, serves as a vibrant nexus where art, textile, and craftsmanship converge, offering profound insights into the interplay between aesthetics, society, and culture.
